Position Overview

The Alaska Center for Rural Health and Health Workforce is seeking an Accreditation Coordinator to support high standards of education for the state’s healthcare professionals. The Coordinator will provide day‑to‑day program and administrative support for Continuing Education (CE) activities, including documentation, communication, and logistics coordination, while ensuring compliance with Joint Accreditation standards and other regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document, review, and organize activity information and manage activity communications.
  • Coordinate logistics for CE events and support activity planners and speakers.
  • Maintain program data systems, evaluate training effectiveness and monitor fiscal resources.
  • Provide high‑level operational support to elevate healthcare education across Alaska.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Three years of college coursework and three years of progressively responsible experience related to health, training, education, public service, credentialing, or compliance; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web‑based applications.
  • Experience coordinating projects and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Knowledge of Joint Accreditation standards and continuing education requirements is highly valued.
