The Senior Contracting Officer manages and coordinates procurements for the Alaska Energy Authority from request to completion, including administering contracts, preparing cost adjustments, coordinating extensions, and incorporating change orders. The role ensures contract renewals are in place before expiration and monitors contract expenditure levels. This is a full‑time exempt position based in Anchorage, Alaska.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- 5 years experience in a purchasing role
- Knowledge of construction procurement
- Proficiency soliciting competition and knowledge of bidding and proposals
- Ability to obtain appropriate warrant certificates from the Alaska Department of Transportation and Department of Administration
- CPM, CPSM, or CPPO certifications desired but not required
