You will serve as Plans, Strategy, & Assessments Specialist at the Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies, 8414 McGuire Ave, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK 99506.
You may qualify at the GS-12/13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Leading the development and execution of strategic and operational-level plans and managing associated governance and planning processes. Conducting comprehensive organizational assessments, analyzing performance data, and providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Developing and implementing performance management frameworks, including the establishment of metrics and the facilitation of program review cycles. OR
B. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
Applying analytical and evaluative methods to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. Experience in developing, managing, and maintaining long-range strategic calendars and governance documents. Skill in analyzing and interpreting performance data to identify trends and inform decision-making processes. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional;
philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
