Gas Supply Analyst

What You Will Do:As a Gas Supply Analyst, you will play an essential role within our Gas Supply department, reporting to the Gas Supply Manager. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Update and maintain system used to monitor, review, and analyze gas demand.
- Update and maintain system used to monitor, review, and analyze gas supply market.
- Support Gas Day/Gas Hour and other gas forecasting and nominations systems.
- Support the development and maintenance of supply, storage, and transportation plans for long-term and short-term gas supply requirements.
- Maintain contract records and support the administration of gas supply and storage contracts.
- Follow Cook Inlet gas supply market news, pipeline tariffs, AOGCC filings, regulatory proceedings to keep the Gas Supply team informed.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of training materials for daily gas forecasting and gas purchasing procedures.
- Provide Gas Supply support to Regulatory and Accounting teams.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including gas producers, pipeline companies, and other utilities.
- Support ENSTAR's transportation customers and assist with monitoring activities for regulatory and contractual compliance.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Good analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and evaluate data from multiple sources.
- Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to financial and operational data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively work with contractors, consultants, governmental agencies, and other departments/personnel to accomplish ENSTAR's objectives.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently on routine assignments and collaboratively within a team.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of operational challenges.
Qualifications:
- Must maintain a positive work atmosphere through effective interactions and communications with co-workers, customers and management.
- Must maintain a safe environment for co-workers, customers and the public through adherence to established safety standards and timely reporting of potential hazards.
- Must adhere to ENSTAR's policies and procedures related to the code of business ethics, compliance, responsible use of assets, and all applicable state and federal laws.
