The Role:
Join Our Team as a Competent Person / Site Supervisor!

We’re seeking an experienced and safety-focused leader to oversee hazardous materials abatement and mold remediation projects. In this role, you’ll supervise field crews, ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and State of Alaska regulations, and manage on-site safety and documentation. If you have a background in environmental remediation or the construction industry and enjoy leading teams, and thrive in fast-paced field conditions, we want to hear from you.

Compensation:

  • Private Projects:
    Base rate of $35–$45/hour, depending on experience
  • State and Federal Projects (Davis-Bacon):
  • Paid at the current prevailing Davis-Bacon wage rates
  • Overtime is common and paid at enhanced rates by labor regulations

Job Type
:
Full-time, based in Anchorage, AK.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+years of hands-on experience in hazardous materials remediation or the construction industry.
  • Prior supervisory experience in environmental remediation or construction preferred
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and/or OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification
  • IICRC AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician) and WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) certifications preferred
  • Ability to lead crews and enforce job site safety in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and IICRC standards
  • Respirator fit testing and medical clearance required; must be able to wear full PPE
  • Strong understanding of hazardous material regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, RCRA, TSCA, IICRC S520)
  • Proficient in job site documentation requirements using digital platforms and electronic reporting tools. Experience with using Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean background check required; willingness to travel and work flexible hours
  • Ability to Communicate, Organize, Problem Solve, Team Build with a positive attitude a must.
