Building on our past. Ready for the future.

At Worley, we are a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets.

Play an integral role in supporting the successful environmental compliance execution of one of North America's most significant pipeline projects. This position places you directly within active construction environments where environmental stewardship, field coordination, and practical problem solving are critical to project success.

You will join a collaborative project team focused on integrating environmental requirements into day-to-day construction activities while supporting safe, efficient, and compliant project execution in remote Alaska field locations. This role is ideal for an environmental professional who thrives in dynamic construction settings, enjoys working closely with field teams, and values pragmatic, solution-oriented environmental compliance implementation.

Purpose of the role

You will be responsible for supporting field-based environmental compliance implementation during active construction operations for the Pipeline. Working under the direction of the Environmental Field Manager, you will help execute approved environmental management plans, permit conditions, and mitigation requirements across assigned construction spreads and work areas.

This role focuses heavily on hands‑on field support, mitigation implementation tracking, coordination with construction supervision, and maintaining accurate environmental compliance documentation. You will serve as a key field‑level environmental resource embedded with construction teams to help ensure environmental requirements are effectively integrated into daily work execution.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and associated environmental discipline plans during active construction activities.
  • Assist construction crews with installation, maintenance, and field verification of required environmental controls and mitigation measures.
  • Participate in daily coordination meetings, pre-task planning sessions, and construction briefings to communicate environmental requirements and constraints.
  • Verify environmental controls and mitigation measures are properly installed and functioning prior to and during construction activities.
  • Apply environmental permit conditions, commitments, timing restrictions, and project-specific mitigation requirements within assigned work areas.
  • Support field confirmation that construction activities align with approved permits, plans, and environmental commitments.
  • Identify potential environmental compliance concerns, field conflicts, or mitigation deficiencies and elevate them appropriately to the Environmental Field Manager.
  • Maintain awareness of environmental sensitivities and constraints that may impact construction sequencing and work execution.
  • Track quantities, locations, and implementation status of environmental mitigation measures including:
    • Erosion and sediment control features
    • Temporary and permanent stabilization measures
    • Wetland and waterbody protection measures
    • Wildlife mitigation actions
    • Reclamation and restoration activities
  • Maintain organized and accurate field documentation including logs, maps, photographs, mitigation tracking records, and daily field observations.
  • Coordinate mitigation tracking information with Environmental Inspectors and construction supervision to ensure consistency and alignment of project documentation.
  • Serve as a field-level environmental implementation contact for assigned construction activities and work fronts.
  • Work collaboratively with construction leadership to integrate environmental requirements into practical field execution strategies.
  • Support Environmental Field Managers with compliance summaries, reporting inputs, mitigation tracking updates, and documentation management.
  • Assist with documentation and follow‑up activities associated with corrective actions identified during inspections or internal…
