Aurora Flooring is looking for a highly organized Commercial Operations Coordinator to support our growing commercial division. This role serves as the central hub between estimators, project managers, subcontractors, and customers—helping ensure opportunities are tracked, projects are properly documented, compliance requirements are met, and jobs move smoothly from bid to completion.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in construction administration, project coordination, certified payroll, contract administration, or commercial operations who enjoys working with people, managing details, and keeping projects organized.

What You'll Do- Coordinate incoming commercial leads and route to appropriate team members
- Track active bids and opportunities through the pipeline
- Maintain reporting on awarded, pending, and lost projects
- Organize contract documents and project startup paperwork
- Ensure subcontractor compliance documentation is current
- Administer certified payroll and assist with prevailing wage compliance
- Coordinate project startup requirements (insurance, licenses, bonds)
- Support federal, municipal, military, and public works projects
- Assist with project closeout documentation
- Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and forecasting updates
Required
- 3+ years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, or related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership mindset
Preferred
- Experience supporting public works, government, or federal projects
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or construction software
