Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Management Specialist to support the oversight and administration of demolition projects across multiple locations throughout the state. This role is integral to ensuring projects remain on schedule, meet funding compliance requirements, and are executed in accordance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design process and provide oversight of all demolition projects at various statewide locations
  • Maintain full working knowledge of all active demolition projects, including those awaiting approval
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule and meet end dates to prevent loss of FEMA and HUD funding
  • Review all submittals for compliance with project plans and specifications
  • Review contractor invoices and coordinate with fiscal teams to ensure proper allocation to funding sources, including change orders and amendments
  • Complete and administer Contractor and Consultant Evaluations at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% project completion milestones
  • Assist the Program Director with contract compliance and adherence to division policies, procedures, statutes, and administrative codes
  • Coordinate with township Business Administrators to manage utilities, community resident issues, and property line disputes
  • Attend all Plan & Spec review meetings, Pre-bid, Post-bid, and Pre-construction meetings for all projects
  • Coordinate field activities with AE firms and state agencies including Department of Labor, DEP, EPA, and NJ Department of Health
  • Maintain organized electronic records of all project correspondence, submittals, invoices, amendments, and close-out documents
Required Skills:
  • Construction project management and demolition project oversight

  • Strong organizational and document management skills
  • Ability to travel statewide as required
Location & Work Model:

Statewide assignment based out of Trenton, NJ 08625. On-site presence required across multiple project locations.

Engagement Details:

Contract engagement 24 months. Standard business hours apply.
