Assistant Branch Manager – Anchorage, Brayton DriveThe primary focus of the Assistant Branch Manager is to develop and maintain good customer relations. The Assistant Branch Manager shall assist customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems. They shall confer with customers by telephone, email or in person to provide information about products and services, take orders, or obtain details of complaints. Under the direction of the Branch Manager the Assistant Branch Manager shall be responsible for opening and/or closing the Branch, various administrative duties and other duties as assigned.
Schedule: full‑time:
Monday – Friday
Pay Scale: $26 – $30 per hour + eligible sign‑on bonus of $1000
Job Duties- Confer with customers by telephone, email or in person to provide information about products and services, take orders, or obtain details of complaints.
- Quote, work order, invoice, and receive payment for all services provided.
- Schedule and assign work orders to the appropriate team member.
- Provide support and/or backup for team members during installation of products and services, including unscheduled deliveries, damage reports, detailing vehicles, chip repairs, and setting glass as needed.
- Provide training for current and/or new employees.
- Open and/or close the Branch; utilize closing procedures to ensure all financial records are accurate on a daily basis.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Obligated to keep confidential any information pertaining to customers and competitors.
- Maintain appearance and serviceability of the showroom, waiting room, shop, company trucks, and restrooms.
- Driving company or customer vehicles may be required.
- Order, pick up, check in and inventory all supplies and freight for all services provided; ensure all products are clean and undamaged.
- File claims for all damaged product and supplies.
- Ensure all unused or damaged product and supplies are returned or handled according to Speedy Glass policy.
- Maintain accurate filing system for customer orders, quotes, specialty products, voids, returns, and all other necessary files pertaining to the individual branch location.
- Send and receive all mail.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Management or by the Branch Manager or direct supervisor.
- At least 2–4 years of previous clerical and/or customer service experience.
- Auto glass experience a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced work environment and ability to use and learn computer‑based inventory control systems.
- Demonstrated POS and MS Office proficiency.
- High School or equivalent (GED).
- Excellent driving record and a valid driver’s license.
