$20.00 per hour with a one month successful engagement raise to $22 + Potential incentive pay.

For the months of May – July we are looking for energetic, talented hires to introduce our client to potential residential clients. Our Client is a technology trailblazer and community cornerstone. As a member-owned cooperative, they combine top‑tier infrastructure with deep local roots, keeping Alaskans connected in multiple ways.

Are you outgoing, friendly, and ready to hit the pavement with purpose? We are looking for upbeat, people‑loving individuals to join their Community Engagement Team as Canvassers/Doorknockers. You’ll work during the week, chatting with neighbors and making meaningful connections.

• Team up and head out to pre‑planned neighborhoods for some good old-fashioned face‑to‑face outreach.
• Strike up friendly conversations, help residents complete a quick survey, and connect them to the MTA team for more info.
• Be the approachable, enthusiastic face of MTA—every door is an opportunity!
• Wrap up your shift with a quick debrief to share insights and feedback.

• Prior experience in sales, canvassing, or cold calling preferred but not required
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers and working outdoors.
• Presentable, reliable, and team‑oriented.
• Passionate about community engagement and technology.

Connect Alaska Communities to Fiber. Join a local outreach team helping introduce residents to reliable internet services—including fiber where available—as part of an expanding, year‑over‑year initiative with MTA across Eagle River, Wasilla, Palmer, and growing service areas beyond.

This is a relationship‑building role, not sales. Your focus is connecting with neighbors, sharing information, and helping households understand their options as service expands.

• $20 per hour with consistent weekly opportunities.
• Flexible 5‑hour shifts, scheduled week‑to‑week.
• Minimum 2 days per week, so you can still enjoy the Alaska summer.
