Dental Assistant

We’re hiring a personable dental assistant to provide extraordinary customer service to our patients. The role supports our dental staff with examinations and procedures, obtains dental records, schedules appointments, and ensures patients leave our practice with a smile.

• Prepare the patient area for exams and procedures by prepping equipment such as x‑ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials, and cleaning and laying out dental instruments.
• Assist with administrative duties, including welcoming patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments for dental visits, ordering supplies, and handling billing.
• Record treatment information after each visit and maintain patient records with current dental histories.
• Advise patients on proper oral health care routines so they can maintain a healthy smile.
• Assist dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by providing instruments and ensuring the patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist.
• Assist with the creation and presentation of treatment plans as needed.

• Ability to provide superb patient care and customer service.
• Excellent multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Basic data entry and computer skills.
• Coronal polished certification preferred.
• Experience taking X‑rays preferred.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.

$18 – $30 hourly
