We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Neurologist specialized in Child Neurology to provide exceptional care in a dynamic and supportive environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to balance in-person clinical work with virtual hospital call coverage, ensuring comprehensive care for our pediatric patients. Required Skills:

• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology with a subspecialty in Child Neurology
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Alaska
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric neurology
• Excellent communication and patient management abilities
• Ability to perform both in-person and virtual care seamlessly

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with telemedicine or virtual hospital call
• Previous locum or temporary staffing experience
• Knowledge of pediatric neurology guidelines and protocols
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of a Pediatric Neurology fellowship
• Active medical licensure or ability to obtain temporary Alaska license
• Prior outpatient and hospital-based pediatric neurology experience

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to obtain temporary Alaska state licensure during full licensure process
• Flexibility for two weeks per month of in-clinic work and virtual call coverage
• Ability to work evenings, overnight, and weekend hours as scheduled
• Commitment to providing high-quality, continuous pediatric care
