AASC Recreation​/Special Event Attendant

The UAA Department of Recreation, located in the AVIS Alaska Sports Complex, is a diverse division designed to assist students in providing the opportunity for physical development on the Anchorage campus. Come join our team!

Required:

• UA Safe Title IX completed training or completion of training within 30 days of the job start date.
• Behavior Based Safety (BBS) completed training or completion of training within 30 days of the job start date.
• Workplace Harassment Prevention completed training or completion of training within 30 days of the job start date.
• To be eligible for student employment at UAA, a student must:
• be enrolled in the university system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or
• for employment between semesters, have successfully completed six or more UA credit hours in the preceding semester and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester; and
• not work hours which interfere with class attendance; and
• have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
• Preferred: AED, CPR and First Aid certification

Student Assistant 2 - $11.34/hour

This position is located at the University of Alaska campus in Anchorage.

This is a student position and is restricted to no more than 20 hours per week while taking classes. Students may work between semesters if they have successfully completed six credits in the preceding semester and plan to enroll for six or more credits in the next semester. Students working between semesters may be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week.
