Position Overview
The Transportation & Power Division is recruiting qualified applicants for our adjunct pool for Automotive and Diesel technology instructors.
Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their academic preparation, past teaching experience, and potential for providing high quality instruction to undergraduate students. Expertise and experience relevant to the effective teaching of the specialty.
Minimum Qualifications- Associates degree in Automotive/Diesel Technology or related field or an exceptional level of professional experience in a closely related field may be considered. A bachelor degree in Automotive/Diesel Technology or related field is preferred.
- Certification specific to the area(s) taught such as Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is required.
This is a part-time, adjunct instructor position. Minimum salaries are set by the United Academic - Adjunct, AAUP-AT/AFL-CIO collective bargaining agreement. Salaries may vary based upon education and experience.
