Overview
The College of Business and Public Policy is recruiting adjunct faculty for the disciplines of Economics, Accounting & Finance, and Management Marketing, Logistics and Business Analytics. Adjunct positions are on a semester‑by‑semester contract basis and do not guarantee employment beyond the specific semester for which they are issued. Qualified applicants will be placed into a hiring pool for Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters.
Acceptance into the hiring pool does not constitute an offer of a contract, and previous teaching does not guarantee availability in subsequent semesters.
- Master’s degree and/or certification in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in the related field is preferred.
- Doctorate degree in a related field is preferred for upper‑division (300 and 400 level) courses.
This pooled, part‑time adjunct position is located on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus in Anchorage. It is a union‑represented at‑will position subject to the University’s needs and the UNAD CBA salary schedule. All hiring is governed by the University of Alaska’s policies for adjunct faculty and may be canceled at the university’s discretion.
