This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Anchorage, AK. The NCAA Compliance Manager will oversee compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations regarding student‑athletes and sports programs. Day‑to‑day tasks include monitoring compliance processes, conducting regular audits and evaluations, ensuring adherence to NCAA standards, and serving as a resource for staff and student‑athletes on compliance matters. The Compliance Manager will also collaborate with various stakeholders to promote ethical behavior and regulatory integrity in all athletic programs offered by UAA.
Qualifications- Knowledgeable in NCAA compliance regulations and rules, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
- Strong organizational and program management skills, including conducting audits, managing documentation, and tracking processes.
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills, including providing clear guidance to staff, coaches, and student‑athletes.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills to address compliance challenges and ensure adherence to all standards.
- Experience in higher education or athletic administration is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in sports management, education, legal studies, or a related field (required);
Master’s degree or advanced certification in compliance is a plus. - Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices and maintenance of a collaborative working environment.
