DSS Accommodations Support Technician

Overview

Disability Support Services (DSS) serves approximately 400 students per year. This is an entry level position in the field of ADA accommodations and student services. If you are interested we encourage you to apply!

This position is housed in UAA's DSS department under the division of Student Affairs. In this position you will work directly with the student body assisting with accommodations, providing disability related information, consultation and training to students, faculty, staff and all departments with UAA. You will provide academic support services to students who experience disability, in accordance with the federal, state, and university disability laws, regulations, and policies.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  One year college coursework in a related field and one year relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

• Full-time, term-funded, non-exempt staff position with a competitive salary and a full employee benefits package.
