The UAA Justice Center is accepting applications for Legal Studies adjunct instructors for part‑time teaching in undergraduate programs.

We seek talented adjunct faculty to receive training, mentoring, and long‑term professional relationships to enhance our students and programs.

Successful candidates will have legal practice experience and a commitment to student learning. They will communicate complex legal concepts clearly, foster critical thinking, and create engaging learning environments for undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds.

Candidates must be adaptable and comfortable teaching face‑to‑face, online, and hybrid. They should provide timely feedback, maintain high academic standards, and collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners to support student success.

Experience applying legal principles in practice and translating them into instruction is highly valued. Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development is expected.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.)
  • Two to three years of related professional experience
Position Details
  • This is a pooled position; applications are reviewed as needed.
  • New hires will be placed on the UNAD Adjunct salary table.
  • Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and type of work assigned.
