Adjunct Faculty Positions – School of Allied Health
The College of Health (COH), one of seven UAA schools and colleges, is a major center for the development and delivery of professional, career and technical, community, and continuing education programs. Applicants should have knowledge of accepted instruction methods and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Strong public‑speaking and customer‑service skills are essential.
Responsibilities- Teach courses in health‑related disciplines, both in traditional classroom and distance‑learning formats.
- Develop curriculum, web‑based course materials, and incorporate technology in the classroom.
- Provide clinical education to students, including site coordination, student evaluation, advising, and counseling.
- Enhance community partnerships with health‑care partners.
- Participate in teaching committees and professional development activities as required.
- Associate’s degree required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Significant experience in a health‑related field.
- Experience teaching in a multi‑cultural setting.
- Proficiency in curriculum development and web‑based course design.
- Experience with clinical education, student evaluation, advising, and counseling.

Position DetailsLocation:
Goose Lake campus, Anchorage, Alaska.
Part‑time adjunct, temporary, part of the pooled position program. Salary will be commensurate with education, experience, and workload.
