At Apple Blossoms Forest School, childhood happens outside. We believe children learn best by climbing logs, splashing in puddles, asking big questions, and following their curiosity. Our Waldorf-inspired, play-based program serves children ages 2–5 in parks and forests, where wonder is part of every day.

• Leading child-led exploration and play
• Cooking snacks over the fire
• Chopping kindling and preparing the campfire
• Shoveling snow or sweeping the outdoor classroom
• Checking for trail hazards and wildlife activity
• Helping little hands zip coats, pull on muddy boots, and build independence
• Creating beautiful, nature-inspired learning experiences
• Building strong relationships with children and families

• Loves being outdoors in every season
• Believes play is powerful learning
• Has experience working with young children (2+ years preferred)
• Has (or is working toward) a degree in Early Childhood Education, Outdoor Education, or a related field
• Communicates with warmth, professionalism, and kindness
• Can pass a background check

• $24–30/hour DOE
• Paid holidays and paid leave

Pay: $24–$30/hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM (16 hours/week), with the opportunity to add 4–8 more hours after two months.
