Job DescriptionRESPEC, an internationally recognized engineering consulting company, seeks a Civil EIT (Engineer in Training) to join our Anchorage, AK office.
The Civil EIT designs various types of projects in our Anchorage, Alaska office for public and private sector clients. This is a hands-on engineering design position in RESPEC’s Transportation Market Sector and will include working on a variety of multidisciplinary design and construction projects. This is a great career opportunity for a dynamic, energetic individual looking to grow in their profession while gaining valuable experience on a wide variety of projects performed across Alaska.

Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- Engineer-in-Training or the ability to obtain within one year.
- Autodesk AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency.
- Solid knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and able to take on new tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Detail oriented & well organized with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.
- Experience in construction
- Knowledge of Civil3D modeling (corridors, grading, pipe models, etc.), quantities, calculations, and cost estimating is a plus.
- Experience in preparing design drawings and design calculations for utility, site and roadway improvement projects.
Compensation:
Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100% employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
