Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, licensed Civil Engineer to join our Anchorage office and apply engineering skills to challenging projects.

In this role you will develop strong relationships with clients and teaming partners through providing comprehensive civil engineering services, from initial feasibility and master planning through design, permitting and construction support. The successful candidate will be a strong collaborator desiring to grow with a multidisciplinary engineering team and be willing to have fun.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).
• 5 or more years of experience in design development, permitting, and construction assistance in sectors including oil and gas, military, and public sector projects.
• Experience with engineering practices within the Alaskan (arctic and sub-arctic) climate.
• Experience in a multi-discipline setting.
• Experience with both urban and rural infrastructure throughout Alaska (preferred).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Interest and ability to be or develop into a mentor for more junior engineers.
