Structural Engineer; Entry Level

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Entry Level Structural Engineer for full-time employment. The ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate, upcoming spring semester graduate, or an engineer with up to a few years of experience, who wishes to increase their knowledge of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures, and work in a professional fast‑paced environment.

• Work semi‑independently
• Possess basic level computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and a working knowledge of computer‑aided drafting

• Able to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
• Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred
• Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale

• A bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, or a Civil or Architectural Engineering degree with an emphasis on structures
• Coursework or experience in concrete and steel design
• Registration as an E.I.T.

• A master’s degree in Structural Engineering, or a Civil or Architectural Engineering degree with an emphasis on structures
• 1–3 years professional work experience
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Experience with structural analysis software
• Experience with masonry and/or timber design
