The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing IQ task orders (projects) for technical disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, or civil/buildings), including estimate, client integration, bidding coordination, execution, and completion for both in-house and subcontracted projects.
** Typical duties include but are not limited to:
*** Responsible for preparing information, drawings, plans, and specifications to complete construction and repair projects.
* Responsible for the development of project plans and specifications, planning documents, and other graphical representations where required.
* Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
* Must be able to manage projects as assigned.
* Confer with engineers, architects, customers, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
* Complete Job Plans for in-house work orders and IQ, including task development, bill of materials, and supporting information, e.g., permits, safety.
* Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
* Consult with clients, vendors, and/or foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
* Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
* Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
* Assess the cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
* Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
* Work closely with the Procurement Lead on key subcontracting actions, including scope, RFQ, amendments, award, modifications, and payments.
* Work closely with Maintenance Supervisors and shops to ensure in-house projects are successful. Work closely with subcontractors and DPW counterparts to ensure projects are successful. Work closely with Tessera QC to ensure the QC plan is developed and executed.

* Qualifications:
*** Associate’s degree in construction or maintenance management preferred.
* Minimum of five (5) years of experience in planning, estimating, facilities maintenance, or construction management required.
* Must be knowledgeable in maintenance and construction materials, methods, practices, and costs.
* Project Management Professional (PMP, Construction Quality Management for Contractors (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers), or equivalent preferred.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain CAC system clearances.
