Location: Anchorage, AK

RESPEC seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to work with multi‑disciplinary engineers/EITs on professional work products, including water and wastewater utility design, site grading, stormwater management, sediment and erosion control, and Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation permitting.

• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to resolve clients’ technical challenges
• Develop project designs, plan drawings, engineering reports, and technical specifications
• Track project progress within established scopes, budgets, and schedules and alert project managers of any issues that may affect them
• Support other market sectors on design projects as workload dictates
• Prepare clear written communications and participate in client and team meetings
• Present design projects as required to clients and the public
• Conduct research and write technical portions of proposals to assist in bringing in new work

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience with an emphasis on design
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to contribute to multiple projects concurrently
• Detail oriented and organized with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Professional Civil Engineer license
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS (support will be provided by drafting technicians and EITs)
