HireIQ Solutions is leading the search for an Electrical Engineer, PE to join a 40-year, full-service, multidisciplinary engineering and surveying firm with offices in Alaska and Washington. • Design and implement electrical systems for federal, municipal, and industrial projects.
• Lead project phases from concept through construction, coordinating across disciplines and with external stakeholders.
• Mentor EITs/junior engineers and delegate technical work.
• Conduct inspections and field visits.
• Stay current on codes, standards, and best practices for Arctic and rural conditions.

• Strong verbal and written communication; collaborative problem-solver.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail; effective time and budget management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD;
  Revit required.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum).
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required (ability to obtain Alaska licensure within 6 months preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in one or more of:
• Lighting and facility controls
• Telecommunications (RCDD certification preferred)
• Power generation/distribution
• Pumping systems & industrial controls
• Water/wastewater, lighting, telecom, and controls
• UFC/UFGS standards, Arctic design, and hazardous locations
• Experience with SCADA systems preferred.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for field work.
• Ability to access and navigate job sites and construction areas.
