Fairweather is seeking a Protected Species Observer to monitor marine mammals onshore or aboard vessels in Alaska, supporting environmental compliance on marine construction, dredging, and oil and gas projects. You will collect data, enter it into electronic sheets, and coordinate with vessel crews and regulators.
The role requires up to 60 days on the vessel, 24-hour rotations, and the ability to adapt to challenging conditions including weather and ice.
