We believe waste is more than management, it’s also an opportunity to innovate. As part of our Waste sector, you’ll help shape solid waste infrastructure and environmental stewardship. With a top-tier industry ranking, our team delivers comprehensive solutions that span waste planning, remediation, engineering and implementation. You’ll collaborate closely with clients and communities to design sustainable, cost-effective systems that contribute to cleaner environments and healthier communities.

The successful candidate will provide environmental compliance support for Alaska solid waste projects but could also be assigned to projects in other market sectors in and outside of Alaska. Specific responsibilities will include:

Conduct field work: groundwater sampling,surface water sampling, and landfill gas monitoring and sampling.

Support solid waste permit applications, including writing and reviewing technical work products (environment at documents and technical studies).

Work with project managers, clients, and subject matter experts for permitting needs.

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to exemplary quality standards for professional practice and deliverables. Candidates must have field work experience and be able to work safely and efficiently in remote outdoor settings in Alaska under a variety of weather conditions. Candidates must be able to work cooperatively with professionals from other disciplines, clients, project managers, business development professionals, and operational leadership.

This is a full-time position based in Anchorage, Alaska.

• 2 to 5 years environmental permitting and/or compliance experience in Alaska
• Experience with field sampling, monitoring, solid waste/landfill, and air quality
• Preference given to local candidates

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or closely related field
• Knowledge of wetland delineation, field investigation techniques, and agency coordination requirements
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
