Principal Scientist, Engineer, Geologist

• 10 to 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including project, client, and staff leadership;
  Alaska work preferred
• Strong technical background in environmental investigation and remediation involving soil, groundwater, vapor, and sediment and associated waste management
• Strong working knowledge of CERCLA, TSCA and RCRA and Alaska-specific environmental regulations, and familiarity with Alaska's regulatory environment
• Demonstrated success building and maintaining client relationships
• Experience leading or supporting business development efforts, proposals, and client engagements
• Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for growing a practice
• Passion for mentoring and developing others
• Advanced degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental or Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Alaska Civil or Environmental Professional Engineer license, Registered or Certified Geologist (preferred)
• Hazardous waste management experience, particularly in industrial, environmental, or regulatory settings (a plus)
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification (preferred)
• Existing relationships within industrial, real estate, energy, municipal, or redevelopment sectors (preferred)
• Experience in Arctic, sub-Arctic, or remote operating environments (preferred)
• Experience preparing Storm Water Pollution Plans and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plans (preferred)
  Experience working in highly collaborative, multidisciplinary teams (preferred)

Demonstrates extensive experience in environmental consulting with a strong technical background in environmental investigation and remediation, including knowledge of relevant regulations and the ability to lead and mentor teams. Proven track record in client relationship management, business development, and delivering high-quality project outcomes.
