The Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development's Division of Administrative Services is recruiting for a Budget Analyst 1/2 in Juneau or Anchorage. This flexibly staffed position supports the development, review, and administration of the department's operating and capital budgets, with growth built in as you learn the budget cycle, key financial systems, and how program pieces fit together. Whether you're new to budget work or already bring experience, we encourage you to apply—an active, curious mind ready to tackle complex challenges is exactly what we're looking for.

You'll have the chance to work independently while also engaging regularly with division leadership on meaningful financial and budget work. DCCED values work-life balance and fosters a team culture where each member's contributions are recognized and appreciated.

The working environment you can expect:

This position is based in the department's main offices - either on the 9th floor of the State Office Building in Juneau or the 18th floor of the Atwood Building in Anchorage - each offering modern work spaces and excellent views. The daily environment is friendly, professional, and collaborative, with regular interaction across divisions and agencies. Hybrid local telework may be available after a training period.
