The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil & Gas, is recruiting for an Accountant 3/4 in Anchorage.
This position is open to Alaska Residents only.
This position handles all Net Profit Share Lease (NPSL) account activity. This includes reviewing and evaluating NPSL reports to verify that lessees file them accurately and in accordance with regulations, and make appropriate net profit payments.
The position calculates and verifies royalty values for leases subject to Alaska North Slope (ANS) royalty settlement agreements (RSA) and works with lessees to correct misreported values.
This position also compiles statistical data that is published on the division's public website, reconciles run tickets and royalty payments, and serves as backup to the royalty accountant 3.
The accountant 3/4 primarily works with a team of royalty accountants and programmers to ensure royalties are reported accurately.

This position supports the Division’s success by ensuring that the State collects the correct net profit owed under all Net Profit Share Leases.

Minimum Qualifications
Accountant 3 – starting salary is $2725.50 biweekly
