What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will be part of the statewide Public Assistance Eligibility Team, working a portion of your day processing documents received by local Tribal Health Organizations. Together, we will help Alaskan families, the elderly, and other individuals in need reach higher levels of independence and self‑sufficiency by connecting them with the public assistance programs our agency offers. You will also have the opportunity to interact extensively with the public, being empathetic as you explain the need for information or the benefits.

Being empathetic while explaining the need for information or determining benefits is a strong asset for this position.

This position joins a statewide eligibility workflow team in local Public Assistance offices. The work location is in our Anchorage office located at 4001 Ingra Street, Suite 131, Anchorage, AK 99503.
