What you will be doing
This Social Services Program Coordinator position, within the Division of Behavioral Health Director's Office Policy Legislative Regulations Communication and Planning Section, is fully responsible for coordinating and managing multiple smaller programs, including strategic planning, policy and procedure development, communications, legislative and regulatory activities.
Under the supervision of the Social Services Program Officer, you will act as a secondary point of contact for regulatory work, provide lead regulatory division staff with relief by handling regulation packages or assisting on specific tasks to ensure timely and consistent processing of select regulation projects.
You will assist in conducting bill analyses and assessing legislative impacts on division practices and support internal and external communications to ensure effective program implementation and operational continuity.
