Duties

Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following:

  • Reviewing applications for permits to drill (APDs) for technical adequacy and compliance with bureau policy.
  • Conducting engineering and economic analysis to determine viability of proposals as well as the short- and long-term benefits to the government.
  • Communicate with operators, leases, and other governing entities to facilitate relationships and manage information.
  • Review sundry notices for day-to-day operations.
  • Performing technical reviews and making recommendations for approval of down-hole operations.
  • Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
