Investigator 3

Division of Insurance is recruiting for an Investigator 3 to join our team.

This position is an Insurance Investigator in the 4-person Investigation Unit in the Anchorage office. The Investigation Unit investigates telephonic, oral and written complaints of insurance fraud in compliance with Alaska Statute. Under general direction of the Division of Insurance, Chief Investigator and Assistant Attorney General’s office this position provides investigative reports reflecting effective civil and/or criminal investigations. The Investigator 3 has standardized policies and procedures that affect investigations and the preparation of cases.

The mission of the Division of Insurance is to regulate the insurance industry to protect Alaskan consumers. The Division of Insurance is a small division that consists of 48 positions split between Anchorage and Juneau with the Director based in Anchorage and the Deputy Director based in Juneau. This position requires the ability to qualify for a Special Commission Department of Public Safety. Ability to travel state-wide and outside Alaska and be willing to work irregular or unusual work hours during the course of an investigation.
