WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Working under the direction of the Bureau Administrator, Fire Training Specialists play a vital role in coordinating Fire Service Training, Fire Prevention and Community Risk Reduction initiatives, and Public Education programs.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing, developing, and coordinating training programs aligned with both local and nationally adopted standards.
Designing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive training curricula to meet the needs of the fire service, the public, and industry stakeholders.
Supporting and advancing initiatives that enhance fire prevention and community safety through innovative education and outreach efforts.
This position is pivotal in shaping the knowledge, skills, and preparedness of fire service professionals while fostering safer communities
