Criminal Justice Technician

The Department of Corrections, Division of Pretrial, Probation, and Parole is recruiting for a Criminal Justice Technician 1/2 position at the Anchorage Pretrial Office located in Anchorage, Alaska.

• Provide advanced technical and clerical support for the Anchorage Pretrial Office, including document processing and criminal justice data entry.
• Conduct Electronic Monitoring installs and releases daily, perform urinalysis/PBT testing, and support law enforcement staff in paraprofessional tasks.
• Maintain Redwood Toxicology program data collection and randomized testing schedules.
• Assist with monitoring low-risk defendants assigned to the General Supervision bank.
• Conduct cyclical audits of absconder banks and numerous other databases.

This office supervises approximately 700 defendants daily on various forms of pretrial release residing within the Municipality of Anchorage. We provide a dynamic work environment amongst a cohesive group of coworkers committed to success.
