Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant *Per Diem Providence Anchorage

Overview

The Occupational Therapy Assistant implements therapy treatment plans under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and prescribed by a physician licensed in the state of Alaska.

Position:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

Schedule:
Per-diem, 0.01 FTE, Day shifts;
Hours per week as needed.

Implement therapy treatment plans under supervision and provide therapeutic interventions as prescribed by a licensed occupational therapist and physician as applicable.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training and graduation from an associate degree program in Occupational Therapy Assistant, or equivalent education/experience.
• Alaska Occupational Therapy Assistant License at the time of hire, or applicable permits (Alaska Occupational Therapy Assistant Limited Permit, Alaska Occupational Therapy Assistant Temporary License).
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (at time of hire).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of clinical experience with physical disabilities.
