Phlebotomist - Anchorage

Overview

Provides efficient, accurate, and courteous service for PAMC patients or residents of Nursing Home Clients. Provides accurate and timely collection and receiving of specimens for all patients in accordance with medical center and laboratory policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations. Performs bedside tests (bleeding times) as requested.

We are hiring for a Phlebotomist position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 10-hr variable shifts, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• National Phlebotomy Technician - National Organization upon hire or,
• National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire or,
• National Laboratory Tech - United States Government upon hire or,
• National Emergency Medical Technician - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians upon hire or,
• Alaska Emergency Medical Technician License - State of Alaska Department of Health upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience.
