Polaris Transitional and Extended Care Center in Anchorage, Alaska, is currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our crew of in‑house therapists. We value and appreciate specialty certified clinicians to provide the most up‑to‑date and evidence‑based therapy interventions. As a therapy professional, you will have the freedom to create and implement additional programs to best meet the needs of your patients.

The extended care facility is inspired by the Green House care model, offering top‑tier skilled nursing and rehabilitation services within a homely ambiance for its residents. 96 beds spread out over 8 free standing cottages each private room converges around a spacious central area, boasting an open‑plan kitchen and dining space. This design prioritizes social interactions and nurtures a cozy atmosphere.

The transitional care facility is a 50‑bed high tech facility with all individual rooms and a therapy gym with all the high‑tech equipment and space a passionate therapist could ask for.
