Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Caregiver based in the Anchorage Area. The primary responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility. The Caregiver will also provide companionship, support social activities, and ensure the safety and comfort of residents. Additional duties may include monitoring medical needs, housekeeping, meal preparation based on dietary requirements, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to meet the individual care plans of residents.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in providing personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and assistance with daily living activities
  • Ability to foster companionship and support residents in social and recreational activities
  • Experience with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe environment
  • Basic understanding of monitoring and addressing medical needs, including administering medications (certification is a plus)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and team members
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care
  • Previous experience in caregiving or working with seniors with Dementia or Alzheimer's is preferred
  • On going training is provided, in house
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in caregiving is an advantage
