Speech-Language Pathologist Needed in Anchorage, AK
  • Openings in PreK-Elementary.
  • Caseload: 47 students.
  • Contract for the school year - 37.5 to 40 hours per week (Hybrid).
Speech Language Pathologist / SLP Pay
  • $1,680.00 - $2,437.00/week depending on experience and qualifications.
Speech Language Pathologist / SLP Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or a similar program.
  • National and state certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate, and State License from the Department of Health Services.
  • Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check & Drug Screen).
  • Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
  • Willingness to participate in events outside normal hours, travel as needed, and engage actively in the role.
Position Overview

Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

Essential Functions
  • The ideal candidate will assess and treat a range of communication disorders using tele-practice methods, collaborating with educators and parents to create individualized treatment plans.
  • Responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering therapy sessions, maintaining documentation, and participating in IEP meetings.
  • The SLP will be committed to supporting students’ communication needs in a flexible, engaging manner.
  • Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.
