The Marketing Apprentice is an entry-level professional development opportunity designed for a motivated, relationship-oriented individual who is eager to build a career in healthcare marketing, business development, and community engagement. In this role, you will learn directly from experienced leaders while supporting initiatives that strengthen Imaging Associates' presence across the Anchorage area.

Working closely with the Director of Business Relations and collaborating with senior leadership, the Marketing Apprentice helps expand awareness of Imaging Associates' services, supports outreach to healthcare providers, and contributes to marketing campaigns and relationship-building efforts. This position offers hands-on experience in healthcare marketing, client engagement, CRM management, and strategic communication.

What You Will Learn and Do

Provider Outreach and Relationship Development
Support outreach efforts to referring healthcare providers including primary care, orthopedics, oncology, women's health, and specialty clinics. Participate in in-person visits, virtual outreach, and introductory communications to build awareness of Imaging Associates' services.

Marketing and CRM Support
Assist with maintaining and updating the customer relationship management system to track provider interactions, outreach activities, and referral trends. Learn how data supports marketing strategy and service improvement.

Event Coordination and Community Engagement
Help coordinate provider visits, educational presentations, luncheons, and community events. Support preparation and distribution of marketing materials including brochures, referral pads, and promotional items.

Brand and Reputation Support
Assist with monitoring online reviews and incoming communications to help ensure timely responses and exceptional service experiences.

Marketing Operations and Administrative Support
Support internal marketing initiatives by helping manage marketing material inventory, maintaining shared calendars, and assisting with provider onboarding processes.

Cross-Department Collaboration
Work alongside Guest Services, Operations, IT, and leadership teams to understand how marketing supports scheduling access, provider communication, and overall patient experience.

Professional Development and Industry Exposure
Gain exposure to healthcare marketing strategy, radiology services, competitive positioning, and relationship-based business development.
