Skills in outpatient endoscopy center, electrosurgical units, endoscopes, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, infection control, sterilization/disinfection, and universal protocol

Description:

The Endoscopy Tech will assist in the preparation and care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
The role requires knowledge of various endoscopic instruments and procedures, including EUS, EBUS, and ERCP.
Responsible for setting up and maintaining equipment for procedures.
The tech will ensure high-level disinfection and proper handling of instruments and supplies.
Candidates should be prepared to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
Must adhere to infection control practices and assist in the management of patient care before, during, and after procedures.
The position requires cooperation with interdisciplinary teams and effective communication with patients and staff.
The role may include additional responsibilities such as restocking supplies and closing the room at the end of the day.
The candidate must be willing to work two out of three major holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
A background check and supervisory references will be required as part of the hiring process.
