Description

Imaging Associates is seeking a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) in the Anchorage area to serve as a Business Relations Representative. This Anchorage based field representative will play a key role in driving growth for Imaging Associates by cultivating and maintaining relationships with referring healthcare providers. Reporting to the Director of Business Relations and collaborating with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, this position focuses on outreach, marketing, and service excellence to establish Imaging Associates as the preferred radiology partner .

As a key extension to the Business Relations team, this role bridges our centers and physician offices, clinic staff, and patients, you will manage an assigned call list, conduct targeted visits, and ensure responsive communication to support long-term referral partnerships. This is a full-time, non-exempt role requiring local travel within Alaska.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture working relationships with referring providers (e.g., primary care, orthopedics, oncology, women's health, ENT) through in-person visits, virtual outreach, and "cold" calls to grow our client base and achieve volume targets.
  • Maintain and update a CRM database of existing and potential clients, tracking interactions and referral trends to support market research and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain a viewable/shared calendar of scheduled office visits, luncheons, presentations, and community events to network with providers and promote our subspecialized services and advanced modalities.
  • Assist with monitoring and managing emails and Google reviews to ensure high satisfaction and quick resolution of issues.
  • Monitor inventory of marketing materials, including referral pads, brochures, and swag inventory
  • Participate in weekly planning meetings with the Business Relations team and collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Guest Services, Operations, IT) to align on initiatives like electronic medical record interfaces and text/robo-call campaigns for guest scheduling.
  • Support administrative tasks for the Director of Business Relations, including managing referring provider add forms and assisting with event coordination.
  • Stay informed on radiology trends, industry topics, and competitive landscape to effectively represent Imaging Associates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall team goals.
Requirements
  • MUST be Anchorage based.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3-5 years of sales or business development experience preferred, ideally in healthcare, medical operations, or a client-facing role.
  • Strong working knowledge of medical or clinical operations; familiarity with radiology or imaging services is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional, approachable, and outgoing demeanor.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills for building rapport and presenting information.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including CRM systems, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and report generation tools (e.g., Royal Solutions Group, Digital One).
  • Ability to identify challenges and deliver timely, effective solutions.
  • Willingness to travel locally throughout Alaska; must maintain a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance (employee responsibility).
  • Commitment to ongoing learning about radiology services, industry trends, and company innovations.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
