Caregiver Position in Valdez, AK

We are seeking compassionate and reliable hourly caregivers for both full-time and part-time positions in Valdez, AK. In this role, you will help clients maintain comfort, independence, and safety in their homes. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are caring, dependable, and enjoy making a real impact in someone's life. WE DO NOT PROVIDE TRAVEL COSTS OR HOUSING FOR APPLICANTS WHO ARE TRYING TO RELOCATE.

Based on experience and certifications Responsibilities

• Help clients with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Remind clients to take their medications
• Assist with moving safely around the home (using a gait belt or Hoyer lift if needed)
• Light housekeeping and preparing simple meals or snacks
• Keep clients safe and comfortable during your shift
• Share any concerns or observations with the care coordinator
• Can adjust to the flexible schedules

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and punctual
• Strong communication and observation skills
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Must be eligible to work in Alaska
• Must have reliable transportation
