What you will be doing:

The Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (CDPHP) is seeking a collaborative professional to serve trustees of the Alaska Mental Health Trust who experience Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) by coordinating and facilitating the Alaska Dementia Action Collaborative (ADAC). As a member of the Dementia Education and Prevention Program (DEPP) staff team, you will maintain and grow coalition membership, provide information and education to partners and members of the public on ADRD topics, and facilitate the development of an implementation plan that aligns ADAC priorities with those of the Department of Health and national partners.

The working environment you can expect:

Following an initial orientation period, you may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule of up to three days per week from home, based on business needs and agency policy. You will spend your in-office days on the 7th floor of the Frontier Building in Anchorage, with beautiful views of Anchorage and the surrounding mountains, convenient access to restaurants and shops, covered parking, a high level of building security, and vending machines for drinks and snacks.
