Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) – Travel Contract

📍 Location: Anchorage, AK 99508
💰 Pay Rate: $66/hr W2
📅 Start Date: 11/09/2026
📆 Contract: 13 or 26 Weeks – Traveler’s Choice
⏰ Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5x8s | Approx. 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
🚫 Weekends: None
☎️ On-Call: None
⏱️ Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks

Requirements
  • RD/RDN certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
  • Pediatric experience highly preferred
  • Adult and pediatric clinical experience preferred
  • Experience with Enteral Nutrition (EN) and Parenteral Nutrition (PN)
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Experience with nutrition assessments/reassessments and Nutrition Focused Physical Exam (NFPE)
  • Knowledge of therapeutic diets, calorie counts, fluid/electrolyte requirements and nutrition support
Licensing & Travel
  • Pending Alaska license accepted, although license in hand is preferred
  • First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
  • Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Block scheduling is not available
Position Overview

The Registered Dietitian will provide clinical nutrition services to a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult patients. Responsibilities include nutrition assessments, development of appropriate nutrition interventions, enteral and parenteral nutrition support, therapeutic diet management, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
