American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a low-volume inpatient rehab/LTACH facility, requiring ARRT (R)(CT) certification and at least 1 year of experience.
Details- Inpatient rehabilitation facility with 10-bed LTACH/ICU and 46-bed inpatient rehab unit
- Low volume CT and X-ray coverage
- CT equipment includes a GE 16-slice scanner
- X-ray equipment includes Siemens portable and GE C-arm for MBS studies
- 4x10 hour day shifts, primarily Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 2-3 nights of on-call coverage per week required
- Weekend coverage required
- Float to a nearby sister facility approximately 3 miles away to support staffing needs
- Epic EMR used for charting
- BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
- Experience with older GE and Siemens CT scanners preferred
- Experience with Siemens, Fuji, and GE X-ray and C-arm equipment preferred
- Experience performing abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, spine, and musculoskeletal CT studies
- Experience with contrast and non-contrast studies
- Experience with vascular CTA, biopsies, brain perfusion, and CT arthrography preferred
- Skilled in peripheral IV starts, venipuncture, and contrast administration
- Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
- Epic charting experience preferred
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Local candidates not accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Only one time off request allowed per 13-week assignment, approved individually upon offer
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Parking is free
- Returning staff may be considered after a 3-month break from prior employment at a Providence facility
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as permanent, travel, or registry staff
- Two supervisory references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
