We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Catering to lead our catering and events operations. This position is responsible for generating catering revenue, managing event execution, and ensuring exceptional service for meetings, banquets, and special events.

The Director of Catering works closely with Sales, Banquets, Culinary, and Operations teams to deliver seamless events that exceed guest expectations while achieving revenue and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed catering revenue goals
  • Solicit new catering business through prospecting, networking, and client relationships
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and prepare proposals, contracts, and event orders
  • Maximize revenue through upselling menus, services, and event enhancements
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate, social, and group clients
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Event Planning & Execution
  • Plan and coordinate all catering events including meetings, conferences, weddings, and social functions
  • Conduct site tours and client consultations
  • Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communicate with all departments
  • Ensure seamless event execution and high guest satisfaction
  • Oversee on-site events and resolve issues promptly
  • Conduct post-event follow-up with clients
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and support catering and banquet teams
  • Collaborate with Culinary, Banquets, Sales, and Operations departments
  • Participate in daily/weekly operations and BEO meetings
  • Train, coach, and develop team members
  • Foster a positive, service-focused team environment
  • Manage catering budgets, forecasting, and revenue reporting
  • Monitor expenses and ensure profitable operations
  • Maintain accurate records, contracts, and billing
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety, and local regulations
